Ultimate frisbee team playing in the women's division out of Colorado

Playing its first season in 2015, Small Batch Ultimate is a women's ultimate frisbee team that pulls talent from all over Colorado. Just as a small batch of whiskey draws from the strengths of multiple barrels to produce the highest quality product, Small Batch Ultimate capitalizes on the assets of each of its diverse athletes to play a beautifully unified brand of ultimate.

We’re beyond excited to welcome Bjorn Schey as our new Head Coach!

With over 17 years of coaching experience across women’s, open, and mixed ultimate, Bjorn brings elite-level strategy, Texas-sized passion, and a stacked resume.

He’s coached just about everywhere — from co-leading Rice Torque to a 2014 DIII title and Texas State Buckets to their first college nationals, to head coaching Bay Area Firefly Disc Club, UFA Austin Sol, and Austin Doublewide at club nationals. He’s even lent insight to Team USA tryouts 👀

When he’s not coaching, you’ll find him chilling with his dog Freja or at karaoke - but never singing the same song twice.
