That’s a little lie you keep telling yourself. No shade, just tea, sis.

You’ve spent years chasing a lower number on the scale. Another diet. Another cut. Another round of trying to get smaller.

I’m chasing the strongest one. If that means I weigh more so be it. Muscle weighs! I love that for me.

Don’t stress about the scale weight. You probably won’t be the lightest, but you’ll be STRONG AF. And look it too. 💪🏾

Don’t fear the scale either. It’s a data point, that’s it.

Carbs are friends, sis. You need them to train like you mean it and recover better.

And if you’re truly in a calorie deficit, you will lose body fat. Periodt! Check your adherence. BLTs, oils, liquid calories, alcohol, bites, licks, and tastes… they add up fast. Be accurate AF with your intake.

No ma’am, your metabolism is probably just fine. It’s adaptive. It adapts to the inputs you keep giving it.

Take a look at your habits, lifestyle, low muscle mass, lack of movement, sleep, stress, and consistency.

No shade. Just tea. ☕️

Lift the weights. Go on the walks. Eat the protein. Drink the water! Honor your health… do the boring ass basics over and over and over! Get your blood work done too. You only have one body; treat it right, and it will treat you right; it’s the only body you’ll ever have! Water YOU!

Listen, do the cardio. Do the Pilates. The activities that you enjoy! I am here for it!!! Go on your hot girls walkies as you should be doing daily. I love that for you; I love that for me!

But if you want the LOOK… the toned look. Look like you lift, look like you work out?

Sis, we gotta lift some weights, weights that challenge you!! Eat STRONG: enough calories (your maintenance level of calories), protein, AND CARBS. They are not the enemy!

Stick to the program. Be patient! Get real comfy with building, not chasing fat/weight loss for a good long while!!

That’s the tea, sis; that’s the way!!

🎂🥳 Celebrated 45 years of life! 🥳 1st pic: treated myself to an amazing facial and massage. The post-glow was real! 10/10 recommend.

🏃🏾‍♀️💨 5K run smashed my time from 2 years ago- shaved off 2 minutes and 35 sec. My new time: 30:08 | 9:41 pace. My face in pic 4 says it all! I crushed on lil sleep and in the luteal phase - day 27! 🩸 Cycle sync my ass! 💀😝

👯‍♀️ Sweet Friend time is the best time!

🚢 Boat day with fam. Cruised around the gulf for the day!
