When gym is life! 🏋🏾‍♀️ 💃🏾💪🏾

Lifting gives you life, literally and figuratively. It builds muscle, supports your health, boosts your confidence, and reminds you just how capable you are.

You walk in carrying the stress of the day and walk out feeling stronger, clearer, and more like yourself.

So go visit regularly, sis!

Frfr though, build your back, sis. Literally and figuratively.
Rows. Pulldowns. Pull-ups. Deadlifts. Train that back like you mean it!

Because nobody has your back the way you do.

Sis, growing muscle requires you to do some things!

You have to challenge your muscles. You have to progressively do more over time. You have to eat enough food and protein to support the work.

And then you have to recover and keep doing it long enough to see the results.

But you cannot keep lifting the same itty-bitty weights, eating itty-bitty calories, and expecting your body to build muscle.

Your body needs a reason to build. It needs the materials to build. And it needs TIME to build.

Train with intention. Eat enough. Recover well. Stay consistent.

That’s the way, sis! 💪🏾

Sis, the weather is not always going to cooperate with your walkies. 😂

It’s gonna be hot. Cold. Windy. Raining. Sometimes you’re busy. Sometimes you just don’t feel like doing it.

Figure out what works anyway.

Walk earlier. Walk later. Break it up throughout the day. Walk inside. Hit the treadmill. Put on the hat, grab some water, and get your butt outside when you can.

Daily movement matters. And not because you need to burn off what you ate.

Walking is good for your heart, your health, your mood, your stress, and yes, simply keeping your body MOVING.

It doesn’t have to be some long power walk either. Ten minutes here. Fifteen there. It all counts.

So… did you get your walkies in today, sis? 👀

If you’ve been living in a perpetual calorie-deficit mindset, under-eating, etc., that’s exactly why you’re not seeing muscle gains.

You can’t keep shrinking and expect to grow at the same time. That “toned look” you’re chasing? It comes from muscle. And muscle doesn’t build when you’re under-fueled.

Being in maintenance or even a slight surplus isn’t the enemy. It’s the foundation!!

More food, more strength, more recovery = the body you say you want.

Stop letting chronic dieting kill your progress.

Stronger, fuller muscles don’t come from endless cuts. They come from fueling like you mean it, lifting heavy for you challenge weights close to failure, and actually giving your body the energy it needs to grow.

THEN you can go into a cut to reveal that hard-earned muscle.

Mmmmk?!

STRONG is where it’s at, sis!!

A lot changes when you start focusing more on what your body CAN DO instead of how little you can make it weigh.

You get stronger, you move better, you perform better, and you start feeling more capable in and out of the gym.

And your health benefits from it too. More muscle supports stronger bones, better physical capability, improved blood sugar control, and a healthier metabolism.

You also start measuring progress differently. The scale stops being the only thing you care about because now you have other proof that your body is changing.

Your lifts are going up. You feel stronger. You move better. You can do things now that you could not do before.

That is why I want more women chasing strength.

When strength becomes the goal, that scale starts losing a whole lot of power!!

And sis, losing weight is not your life’s purpose. Get STRONG. See what your body can do!! You’ll be glad you did!! 💃🏾👏🏾🏋🏾‍♀️💪🏾

One of the best things many women can do for themselves is EAT ENOUGH FOOD!!

10/10 recommend, sis!

Eating like an itty-bitty bird won’t do you any favors in the muscle-building department.

Spend some actual time eating at maintenance. Fuel your training. Give your body enough food to recover and build.

And yes, you may even find that your workouts, your mood, and your relationship with food feel a whole lot better when you’re not constantly trying to eat less.

Eat the damn food, sis. 😝💀 🍽️
