Many other industry devices from modern toilet boxes and ingenious foot-action hand-wash systems used today were spear-headed by Western and approved as the standard by the Park Service as needed. But for all the contraptions and gizmos that make life better on the river, we've never forgotten what it's really all about - helping others experience life by canyon and river.
