I am still not sure why or where I developed a habit of publicly wishing heavenly bdays but here we are again - maybe there is some piece of stardust in me that feels like the interwebs waves can reach the souls I miss here on whatever “the other side” might be 🌈 — so they know how much they are still loved from our Earthly ways.

Oh my biggest extra sister, how we miss you. Thank you for answering some of my prayers this year- I’ve struggled for the first time in my life with fear this year, I guess I never really understood the word until now and phew the universe served her quite the dose of it and look at that smile despite. Thank you for your continued big sister teachings from your post-Earth stay The Debbie. Xoxo

Another impromptu visit today to the briny shores where Kevin Lavigne and I first dated and then 4yrs later decided to do this life thing.

All the deep breaths to process all the life lately - it’s a lot of life I have lived.

WE - CURE Children's Hospital of Ethiopia and Limb Kind Foundation Inc - did it!

40 prostheses provided. The camaraderie, the most amazing patients, the most amazing heart full feeling to be a family together for a week.

Stay tuned for show your shine footage where everyone walked the runway to show off their new tools.

😭 I am exhausted and beyond grateful.

Swipe to see bun bun cozied up with the rest of the “just like me” stuffies I had the honor of gifting my patients today thanks to amazing volunteers designing, 3D printing, and assembling them in advance on the homefront ❤️

40 prostheses casted, modified, laminated, and assembled in 4 days is wild. To give you an idea, back home we typically manage patient expectations to be about a month (often longer) for this service over the course of about 4 appointments 😯 It’s not only our team that is amazing in this collaboration, it is also CURE Children's Hospital of Ethiopia prosthetic team stepping up and work, work, working hard right along with us and feeding us a great lunch every day. We may be dropping like flies to GI fun (thank goodness for meds from home for many- fingers crossed I am not next) - but it’s not stopping us.

Delivery day tomorrow 😭 Peep my stories for evidence of being at our third location this evening - going beyond the hotel and hospital- in prep for tomorrows big feels all around ❤️

I cannot say thank you enough for all your support and encouragement.
