Elevated Power Skating Power skating instruction for private, small groups or teams. Elevated Power Skating was founded by Shannon Bennett.

Focused and efficient sessions emphasizing fundamentals, proper skill development and progression for successful long term athlete development. With over 25 years of combined on ice experience as a competitive figure skater and skating instructor. Shannon's expertise is based on long-term athlete development with a focus on fundamental skill development. She is the current power skating instructor

for the Park City Ice Miners and has developed players across all levels of play. She is PSA rated (RFS, CFS and Hockey Skating level II). Shannon is a USA Hockey Level III Coach and her passion for coaching and expertise is infectious; the athletes have fun while improving skills. Elevated Power Skating focuses on power skating techniques specializing in creating power through correct use of edges, body positioning and proper technique. Learning begins with slow repetition until fundamentals are developed then they are transferred to full speed.

Team Utah 10u girls!!! 💪Coaching this team was an absolute blast 🙌our future is bright with all the up and coming talent! Let’s keep moving this ship forward! I even had the chance to share the bench with my son Brady Bennett . What a full circle moment. We taught the girls that hockey is multigenerational and that hockey is more than sport but it is family! Thank you to the Utah Mammoth and to the Utah Amateur Hockey Association to make this possible. We will forever remember the amazing Team Utah bracelets, special beaded keychains and butter squishy 🧈 Watch out for these superstars playing in a rink near you! 💫

USA Hockey has reached 100,000 registered female players! Today we celebrated the moment and welcomed the 100,000th player, 13-year-old Joanna Gilligan from Millcreek, Utah, who plays in the Utah Mammoth's new all-girls league.
