If you are interested in playing flag football in the Salt Lake area: Attention free agents and teams looking for free agents. We will be hosting a pickup game from 11 am to 1 pm to go over rules, nuances of our league and hopefully put a few teams together. Spring season will start March 30th and run through June 15th. Registration opens March 1st. Field Location will be Redwood Elementary (2650 South Redwood Road). This season there will be a limit on the number of teams. Only 20 Saturday 8 on 8 teams, Only 36 Saturday 5 on 5 teams, Only 16 Weeknight (Wed/Thu) 5 on 5 teams and Only 8 Coed teams (Wed/Thu) will be accepted. Wednesday is contingent on number of teams who sign up for Wednesdays. Schedule spots are limited, paid deposits or team fees will hold/reserve those spots. First teams registered and paid in full will be accepted. Fees are $350 for the season per 5 on 5 team, Coed will be $275 per team for the season, and $450 for the season per 8 on 8 team. Registration fee includes 8 game regular season plus playoffs.

To complete registration pay team fee in full or pay a minimum of $100 deposit (applied to team fee). Balances are due April 6th.

Fall league will be starting soon. Registration will open Sunday September 30th at 9 am. Fall will be indoor at Spence Eccles Fieldhouse, 5 on 5 only. Fee is $400 per team. $100 due with registration to hold spot. Balance due by start of season or you will lose your spot. Fall is limited to 16 teams. Games will be on Tuesday nights: 10/23 8:45-10:45 pm, 10/30 8:45-10:45 pm, 11/6 8-10 pm, 11/13 8-10 pm, 11/20 8-10 pm, 11/27 8-10 pm, 12/4 8-10 pm, 12/11 8-10 pm, and 12/18 8-10 pm. Each team plays one game per night, 7 regular season games plus 2 playoff games guaranteed for each team (9 total). Only top 4 teams in each division play for championship. This is a very rigid format, no bye weeks or double headers available.

Saturday September 22: OUTDOOR FITFEST by FITCON will have an open Spikeball and Dodgeball tournament. It is all ages. Summer League registration will open July 7th. I will be available for questions on July 9th. Season will run August 4th through October 20th (8 regular season games plus playoffs). One change to note: New Rostered Divisions for playoffs. There will a be roster team captains can fill out and print out to bring to the games. Give it to the referee and they will check off players who are in attendance to play. We will keep the rosters. This will be used to determine a players playoff eligibility. This is not required. All teams who choose not to update their online roster and choose not to bring a roster to the game will end up in an Open division for playoffs. No roster required for Open division. Rostered division will be sorted into A, B, C, D divisions as needed. Let me know if you have any questions.

Spring season starts next week, March 31. Late registrations accepted through March 31. Spots still available are for six 8 on 8 teams, four 5 on 5 Saturday teams (12 pm and 1 pm games), six weeknight 5 on 5 teams (Tuesday or mostly Tuesday games), and four COED teams (games on Tuesdays or Thursdays).

There are limited spots available. Coed Kickball (Thu) Only 8 teams, Coed Grass Volleyball (Tue) Only 8 teams. Fees for Kickball and Volleyball are $25 per person (includes team shirt, 7 regular season games, plus playoffs).

Flag Football: Only 24 Saturday 8 on 8 teams, Only 36 Saturday 5 on 5 teams, Only 16 Weeknight (Tue/Thu) 5 on 5 teams and Only 8 Coed teams (Tue/Thu) will be accepted. Flag football schedule spots are limited, paid deposits or team fees will hold/reserve those spots. First teams registered and paid in full will be accepted. Registration for Winter League is coming. It will open 8 am on Sunday November 12th. There will be a link to the registration on the www.utahflagleague.com homepage. Games will be at Spence Eccles Fieldhouse and season will start on Tuesday January 2nd. The next 8 weeks after that will be on Wednesdays. Game times available will be 8 pm and 9 pm. No bye requests will be accepted. First seven weeks are regular season, last two are playoffs (total of 9 games per team). Fee is $400 per team. A minimum of $100 deposit is due with registration to hold the teams spot. Winter league is limited to 16 total teams. Balances will be due on January 2nd. Failure to payment on schedule will forfeit your teams spot in the Winter League. Registration usually fills up in less than an hour from the time it opens.
