As a personal trainer and fitness professional, Kendra Strobel-Yost believes in training through smart goal setting. as diagnosed with cancer. She went through chemo and radiation, and had three invasive surgeries. She really understands when things are hard, and is great at modifying any exercise. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in health and completing an intensive two-year program at Salt Lake Community College, Kendra became a certified personal trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), one of the most reputable certification program in the nation. Today she helps her clients focus on moving mindfully with proper form, especially when incorporating tools such as BOSU balls and TRX Suspension Training. She is certified in the Functional Movement System (FMS), which means she evaluates every client’s physical alignment right from the start. Kendra also teaches high-intensity interval training courses, which have been scientifically proven to be very effective in weight loss and in improving performance.
