Our Newbie Day Out is about helping you catch fish long after we’re gone.
This experience was built specifically for people who are new to fly fishing or haven’t had the confidence to get out on their own. Instead of simply putting you on fish, we teach you the skills that make successful anglers.
You’ll learn:
• How to rig your rod
• Reading water and finding fish
• Fly selection and basic entomology
• Casting fundamentals
• Fighting and landing trout
• Fish handling and river etiquette
Of course, you’ll still spend plenty of time fishing (and catching fish), but our goal is bigger than one great day on the river. We want you to leave with the confidence to head out on your own next weekend.
