🏏 Ravens Bounce Back with a Low-Scoring Thriller Against Spartans!

After a tough loss to **Utah Lions in the last game**, Ravens CC bounced back strongly with a hard-fought victory over **Spartans** in a low-scoring thriller!

Spartans won the toss and elected to bat first, but the Ravens bowling attack kept things under control and bowled them out for just **88 runs in 21 overs**.

🔥 ** Muhammad Zubair Daud** led the bowling attack brilliantly, taking **4 wickets for just 13 runs in 6 overs**. **
Adil Sattar** also made a big impact with **2 wickets for 19 runs in 5 overs**, while **Atif Ali** picked up **2 wickets for 17 runs**.

Chasing 89, Ravens had a few early setbacks and were **91/7 in 18.3 overs**, but held their nerve to get over the line.

Ravens continued their winning momentum with another impressive victory in the Pro30 tournament, making it **back-to-back wins!** 💪

Last Sunday, Ravens faced the **Super Kings**. **Super Kings won the toss and elected to bowl first**, putting Ravens in to bat.

Ravens were bowled out for **174 runs in 29.2 overs**.

* **Adil:** 37 runs — 2 fours & 1 six

A perfect start to our **Pro30 campaign!** 🏏🔥

After a disappointing T20 season, the team bounced back in style with a convincing, one-sided victory over Golden Eagles. Hopefully, this is just the beginning of a successful Pro30 season.

Golden Eagles won the toss and chose to bat first but were bundled out for **121** in just **21.3 overs** thanks to a superb bowling performance.

🌟 **Player of the Match:** **Farasat Saboor** – **6 wickets for just 10 runs in 5.3 overs**, an outstanding spell that completely dismantled the opposition.

Finally, the Ravens remembered how to win cricket matches! 😄

The losing streak is officially over as Ravens grabbed their first win of the season.

Golden Eagles put up 193 all out in 19.5 overs, but the Ravens decided that calculators are overrated and chased down 194/9 on the very last ball of the match!

🎯 Bowling heroes:

* Zubair: 4/24 🏅 **Man of the Match**
* Farasat: 3/37
* Ahmed: 3/26
* Selwin: 1 wicket for good measure

🏏 Batting heroes:

* Adil: 49* (37) – one run short of a fifty, saving runs for the next game
* Atif Ali: 41 (23)
* Swadhin: 37 (20)
* Ali: 27 (20)
* Meraj: 22 (12) – delivering the finishing touches when hearts were racing

After 5 games, Ravens are still searching for the first win of the season. 4 losses and 1 washed out match — definitely not the start we hoped for. Tough times test the team, but we stay united, keep believing, and fight till the end. Defeat can delay us, but it will never define us. 💪🏏

Not the start we were aiming for, with back-to-back losses against Royals and Lions. It’s a tough pill to swallow, but setbacks are part of the game. We’ll take this one-week break to regroup, recharge, and work on our mistakes. This team has the talent and mindset to bounce back stronger. The season is long, and we’re just getting started. 💪🔥

🦅 Ravens Official Announcement – Season 2026
The Ravens are officially registered for the UCA 2026 season and will compete in both the T20 and Pro30 tournaments. 🏏
We are proud to announce that Ali Hassan will lead the team as captain for both tournaments this season.
We also warmly welcome our new players joining the Ravens family:
• Adil Sattar
• Farasat Saboor
• Simeon Lovell
• Selwin Lovell
• Qaizaar Khas
• Romik Bhattari
At the same time, Harish and Sohal will not be part of the Ravens squad this season. Saad, Ali Hamza, and Omer Malik will also be taking a break from cricket this year.
We sincerely thank them for their contributions to the team and wish them all the very best.
A new season, new energy, and the same Ravens spirit.
