Hi Zumba friends! I figured it was time for an update. I tore my meniscus a few months ago back at the end of April and had to cancel my Zumba classes. All of my current students were notified. I am healing and will update when I can teach again! Note that Zumba.com has a large directory of instructors and some classes are virtual and/or on demand from instructors all over the world! 👏💕👍 So you can easily take a Zumba class anytime!

Hope you are enjoying this beautiful spring weather! Although still admittedly a little cold for me I am definitely loving the steady climb to warmer sunnier days!

❗️May will be my last month teaching Zumba as I will be taking the summer off from a regular Zumba schedule as I have *a lot* of unexpected life changes and travel plans starting in June. I will definitely miss teaching and I hope to see you during our next 7-8 classes this month!

If your pass expired recently no worries at all! I can extend your pass until May 22nd. That will be our last class of this series 🫶

Saturday Zumba will be taught on Saturday May 11th at 10:15 a.m. at Elite Dance **if** there is enough interest. Please let me know if you plan on coming at least a week before class. If I have at least 3-5 RSVPs I will teach! 😀 If not I may cancel this class as it has been a lower turn out the last few classes.

🤑 I am offering for the month of May a 4 class pass for $32 or a drop in for $8 so everyone can take class for only $8 this month! Cash, venmo (-Baird) or through buying a pass at: bodyfitology.punchpass.com or I can send you a credit card link or take payment ideally before class starts 🙏🏻

💓 Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your participation in my Zumba class! Let us end this class series strong and healthy before summer activities and keep dancing through summer; even if that is in your kitchen cleaning to 90's rock/rap! One of my favorite things to do is clean and dance and act like a thug from songs I grew up to! Makes cleaning more fun! 🧼

Hi Everyone! 🪘

I have a *NEW* warm up and cool down from the latest release from Zumba! It has an African infusion sound; lots of drumming and passion ❤️

💓 When I hear this warm up music I fell in love immediately! Something about it gets me excited to move; like really MOVE. I also love the rythums and beats from this last release! Will be dropping in some new routines in as well.

👀 I am watching you all and you are learning the new routines a lot faster! I love seeing this class become more advanced! *Well done*!! 👏 + learning new combos are great for the brain/memory right?! 🧠

We will also be doing Show me How to Burlesque as a feature song for the entire month of May! It is tricky enough to have a learning curve but easy enough to jump right in. After doing it a few times I am pretty confident you will get the little details of the routine. To me it feels like "dancing" and less like a workout! 😁👍

I will be teaching a new Burlesque routine called: Show Me How To Burlesque by Christina Aguilera! I absolutely loved doing Candy Man last month and got really good feedback. I hope you like this one as much if not more! Burlesque is fun right? I sure think so!

Glitter Armanda in SLC Utah has one of the the most creative spaces I have ever taught in! Last night was my first night teaching there and it was super fun to do glowing in the dark Zumba! Which is why I wore a yellow hat! 😁

I am super excited for tonights class as Rebecca and Melissa will be helping me lead a new dembow Zumba song which is is a dominican style with playful, rapid drum patterns and carefree energy! 🥁

Hi Everyone!

I just got back from Mazatlan Mexico last night! Such a wonderful trip. Mexico was warm and beautiful and the people were friendly and we indulged! 😁

The highlight of the trip was seeing the eclipse which was truly an experience. First time for me to see a full eclipse and I loved it!

Hope you enjoyed your eclipse experience as well; even if you saw a partial eclipse I still think that is pretty exciting! 🌖

I am SO excited to Zumba tommorrow! My body is literally craving it. I *need* to reset my body and get the blood pumping again 💃

❗️For my new students and as a reminder to my current ones, Saturday Zumba is a monthly class held on the 2nd Saturday of the month at Elite Dance as Vitalize is not an option for Saturdays. So please note the location below 🫶

Hi Everyone! 💃

I wanted to say *thank you* for the fun birthday classes last week! 🎈The photo we took on Wednesday is attached to this post. Thanks for getting sweaty with me! I appreciate having you come! 🫶

⚠️ Also BIG announcement so please read. I am out of town (heading to Mazatlan Mexico) and will *not* be teaching this Wednesday or the next following Monday/Wednesday but will be back to teach Saturday Zumba at Elite on Saturday April 13th at 10:15 a.m.

I have a calendar I created that you can easily see when I am not teaching below and this is also on my virtual calendar at: bodyfitology.punchpass.com under rhe calendar tab. I am a visual person so hopefully the little calendar below is helpful 🗓️

**ALSO** please note that on April 17th and April 22nd we will not be at Vitalize Studio as the studio is being rented out for a course. I am still trying to pin down a spot for our time and have a few options that might work but nothing set in stone yet. I will keep you posted! If you have any ideas let me know 👏
