Tomorrow, Thursday 6/18 @ 6pm

Meet at Rotary Glen Park for a 4.2ish mile trail run together up the Living Room trail!

SkyRun SkyRun will be there with some demos & snacks. Bring water and electrolytes, it’s gonna be hot!! 🥵💦🌈✨

If this would allow you take on a longer distance, it’s for you.

If this would ease race morning logistics so you can feel relaxed at the start, it’s for you.

If this would help you race your best, it’s for you.

We know many people hesitate to apply for scholarships because they think, “I’m not in enough need,” or “someone else needs this more.”

This scholarship exists because childcare is a real cost, caregiving is real labor, and many women quietly opt out of races, training runs, and community opportunities because the logistics feel too expensive or too complicated.

If this eases any barrier and helps you get to the start line—it’s for you. We want to see you out there, racing with confidence.

🏳️‍🌈 Thursday evening Pride Month community run OUT TRAILS - all genders welcome!

👟 Friday morning SLC Brooks Running demo with Wasatch Trails Collective - all genders welcome!

🏃‍♀️ Saturday Speedgoat Training Long run with Näak and HOKA

WEEKLY RUNS:
🏔️ SLC Tuesday @ 5:45pm — Join us every Tuesday and choose between Terraces Loop or and out-and-back on Pipeline. Terraces is a 6 mile loop with ~1400 ft of vert. Meet for both at the parking lot next to the winter gate (as far up the canyon as you can drive).

🏔️ Logan Tuesday @ 6:00pm — Join us at First Dam (Caonyon Entrance Park) for a social paced run. We will run 4 miles out and back on the Logan River Trail. Option to cold plunge after along the trail!

🏔️ Ogden Thursday @ 7:00am — We’ll run 3-4.5 miles, depending on what the group wants, from the 27th St trailhead!

🏔️ Draper Thursday @ 6:00pm — Join us for a trail run starting at Andy Ballard Arena! The route is 5 miles with 800ft of elevation gain.

🏔️ Provo Thursday @ 7:00pm — We will have two distance options this week! Both 5 and 7 mile loops will start and end at Grove Creek.

🏔️ SLC Friday @ 6:30am & 7:00am: Brooks demo with Wasatch Trails Collective. 6mi loop starting at 6:30, 4mi loop starting at 7. Come 15 mins early to demo shoes! Coffee after!

🏔️ PC Sunday @ 8:00am — Our Park City/Wasatch hosts a rotating-location run on Sunday mornings. Check the discord channel later in the week for the location.

Looking for Saturday plans?

⛰️Speedgoat Training Run #1 Saturday 6/20 — Meet us at the Pond Lot between 7:30-8:00am. Demo HOKA shoes and näak nutrition on a 10 mile run with 3800ft of vert. After, we will have a giveaway for a race entry to any Speedgoat Mountain Races distance! This run is intended for women and non-binary runner to support underrepresented gender identities in trail running.

⛰️ Speedgoat Training Run #2 Saturday 7/11 — Meet us and Not That Serious Running Club at the Wildcat Lot between 7:30-8am. Demo HOKA shoes and näak nutrition on a 10 mile run with 3600ft of vert. All genders welcome!

⛰️ Shakeout Run 7/23 — Shakeout your pre-race jitters with us on the Thursday before race weekend! WoW will be leading a social pace, couple mile run, starting from the expo.

You do not need to be signed up or racing Speedgoat Mountain Races to join! We will have leaders, mid-pack guides, and sweepers on each route.

Notes for the training runs:

Routes will not be flagged. Please get familiar with the routes ahead of time (there is service on the mountain). Links on the Women of the Wasatch Strava.

Bring sun protection and plenty of hydration/fuel, as we will have näak and the start/end, but there are not support stations along the route.

Next Friday 6/19, join us for a Brooks Running shoe demo and trail run! We’ll have two groups with a staggered start so everyone meets back around the same time!

Brooks will bring the Cascadia 19, Cascadia Elite, and Ghost Trail to try out on the trails.

6 mile route:
6:15am: Arrive, grab a pair of demo shoes
6:30am: Intros & take off for the 6mi route

4 mile route:
6:45am: arrive, grab a pair of demo shoes
7am: Intros & take off

Everyone: Meet back at Rotary Glen Park at 8am for coffee and conchas! ☕️

Wow, trail season is in full swing! Join us this month:

🍦 Demo & Ice Cream Social: 5:45pm meet, 6pm trail run from Thaynes Canyon/Desolation Trailhead in Millcreek Canyon. All are welcome! Please carpool!

🌈 Pride Month Run: Hosted by . Meet at 6pm at Rotary Glen, all are welcome!

🏃🏾‍♀️ Speedgoat Training Run: Join us for a long run from the Snowbird base. You don't have to be signed up for Speedgoat to join!

📺 WSER Watch Parties: We'll be with .run at the La Sportiva store all weekend watching racers take on the Sierra Nevada trails. We'll have food from 7-11pm Saturday and 10am-12pm Sunday. All are welcome!

Want to race the Speedgoat 50k or 30k? Childcare shouldn’t hold you back.

As a part of the Start Line Project, a joint initiative between Women of the Wasatch and Speedgoat Mountain Races by UTMB to increase women’s participation, childcare will be offered this year. The Snowbird Ski Resort childcare facility will extend their normal hours during race weekend to allow parents to race. Women of the Wasatch is offering 20 subsidized childcare slots for women racing. The adjusted cost for recipients will be a $30 per child.

Join us on Wednesday at Sugarhouse park for Global Running Day! 15+ running brands, local shops, and run clubs will be there. Everyone welcome!

🏔️ SLC Friday @ 6:30am — Start your morning with a run on the 6 mile Red Butte Loop. Start from the BST trailhead across from Rotary Glen Park. Note: no sweeper on this route. Followed by coffee! ☕️

🏔️ SLC Friday @ 7:00am — Social-paced 4 mile Zoo bop for the less-early birds! Start from the BST trailhead across from Rotary Glen Park. Meet up with the 6:30am crew for coffee after.

🏔️ PC Sunday @ 8:00am — Our Park City/Wasatch hosts a rotating-location run on Sunday mornings. Check the discord channel later in the week for the location.

As always, routes and parking pins for each run are on Discord. Unless otherwise noted, our events are free, don’t require sign up, and are for women and nonbinary adult runners. DM us with any questions!
