🍧 We Had a GREAT Time With YOU! 🍧

A BIG thank you to all of our amazing families who joined us for our End of Summer • Back to School Kona Ice Party! We loved seeing so many smiling faces and getting to celebrate together!

As summer comes to an end and our students get back into their school routines, it’s the perfect time for a fresh start and NEW GOALS! ⭐

This school year, we’re encouraging our students to:

🥋 Set goals and work hard to achieve them
🤝 Make new friends and include others
❤️ Choose kindness, even when it isn’t always easy
📚 Stay focused and give their BEST effort in school
💪 Build the routines that help them succeed

🦎🐍 REPTILE DAY AT SUMMER CAMP! 🐢

At our summer camp, getting up close with some incredible reptiles is about a lot more than just seeing some cool animals!

Three BIG positives:

🐍 Facing Fears & Building Confidence
Some of our campers may be nervous at first, but they challenge themselves to get closer, touch, or even hold an animal. That’s confidence in action! Being brave doesn’t mean you aren’t nervous. It means you’re willing to try anyway.

🦎 Learning About & Respecting Animals
The kids learn that reptiles aren’t just “scary” animals. They learn about their habitats, behaviors, diets, and how important it is to treat animals and nature with respect.

🐢 Trying Something NEW!
One of the biggest lessons we teach at 5 Dragons is having a “YES I CAN!” mentality.

Instead of immediately saying “I can’t” or “I’m scared,” we encourage our campers to be curious, listen, learn, and give new experiences a chance.

The Life Skill Takeaway:
Courage grows when we step outside our comfort zone.

Every time a child tries something new, asks a question, faces a small fear, or discovers something they didn’t know before, they’re building confidence that carries over into school, sports, friendships, and everyday life.

That’s what summer camp at 5 Dragons is all about, having fun, making memories, and helping kids grow stronger from the inside out! 🐉☀️

It’s Casual Clothes Month, and 99.999% of the school showed up in gym clothes, as expected.

You cannot deny this guy is headed for greatness. What an incredible example you continue to set!

This has been a great year for Kohai Patrick, juggling a new job, track, school, and martial arts and continuing to step up through it all.
