IRON STRONG Fitness is a strength and conditioning facility that prides itself in being 100% dedicated and invested in helping you achieve your goals. We adapt our workouts to your individual needs and will do all we can to get you the results you want! IRON STRONG is a 2,400 square foot warehouse gym equipped with functional fitness, powerlifting, weightlifting and strongman equipment. The owners

IRON STRONG’s coaches are motivated, skilled and highly qualified to provide you with a safe, supportive and fun fitness environment. Our programming is comprehensive, varied, inclusive and challenging. Each day we will push you past your perceived limits so you can accomplish more than you ever thought possible! ⚓What are you currently training for?

Hope to enter a powerlifting meet in the next year or so but for now I’m just training to be better than I was the day before

⚓How did you get into working out/lifting?

I grew up playing sports and dreaded lifting and conditioning. Years later in college, some buddies peer pressured me into going to the gym with them and I fell in love with lifting

⚓What is your favorite meal?

A ribeye steak with mashed sweet potatoes and asparagus

⚓What do you do for a living?

Investment accountant

⚓What other hobbies do you have besides going to the gym?

Experiencing nature and following sports

⚓What is an interesting/unusual fact about yourself?

An interesting fact about me is that I can’t think of an interesting fact when prompted.. boring answer, I know

Kelsey is a very positive and encouraging when she coaches. She compliments our coaching staff well and cares about helping our members improve their fitness. Here is a quick Q&A to get to know her better!

⚓What is your favorite part of coaching?

Favorite part about coaching is seeing members do something that thought they couldn't. Whether it be a heavier weight or doing all burpees without modification.

⚓What is your current day job?
I currently work as a server at a local restaurant in Fenwick. Just finished my bachelor's in forensic accounting, working on pursing a carrier in that field.

⚓What is a fun fact about you that most members don't know?
A fact most people don't know about me is I am almost always taking a class or some kind of course. I just finished my health coach certification and next plan to study for my real estate test since I finished that course a little bit ago.

⚓What is your favorite cheat meal?
My favorite cheat meal would be pizza, all kinds of pizza.

⚓What are you currently training for?
I’m currently training to set the deadlift national
record for the 82kg 18-19yo class in November
in Richmond

⚓How did you get into powerlifting?
I got into powerlifting because I always liked
the thought of being stronger than those
around me and my dad also used to powerlift

⚓Favorite meal?
Sushi
⚓What do you do for a living?
I work for a Hayden Frye and associates
which is a surveying company

My other hobby would be cars as I own a MK1

The goal of functional fitness is to train your body to increase its strength, endurance and mobility. This allows you to perform everyday tasks with less effort and decreases your chances of sustaining an injury.
