IMPORTANT DANCER INFORMATION…

We are SO EXCITED about the upcoming event in October! We’ve heard from many of you that you already know the dance and you’re coming from out of town to dance with us at the event… We love that!! However…

Please do us a big favor and register with us as an event dancer, even if you cannot attend any of the rehearsals!! According to our powers that be, if you decide to dance the Witches Dances with us, for legal purposes we must require you to be registered with us.

In the attached registration form, you will be asked which rehearsals you can attend. Simply choose the “I am unavailable to attend any rehearsals but still want to dance” option.

Alright ladies… Listen up because this is the news you’ve all been waiting for!!

The Witches of Brick Street Broom Dancers will begin rehearsing for the Witches Dance Bizarre Bazaar 2026 on Tuesday September 8th at 6pm, at South Main Book Co in downtown Salisbury North Carolina, and again every Tuesday after that until the big event on October 30th.

The rehearsals are free to anyone who wants to learn the dance, and you don’t have to attend all eight rehearsals. Just attend enough to learn the choreography, then come back for the big Dress Rehearsal on October 27th.

And you don’t have to be a professional dancer to join this group. All you need to bring is a broom or staff to dance with, and wear comfortable shoes!

*ALL DANCERS MUST BE AT LEAST 13 YEARS OF AGE, AND ALL MINORS MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT AT ALL TIMES WHEN REHEARSING/DANCING WITH THE WITCHES.

PARENTS: While we welcome the attendance of minors, we strongly encourage parents to consider the location of the event within the social district, and the presence of alcoholic beverages, spooky sights and sounds, and mostly adult-themed attractions.

Would you like to officially play a behind-the-scenes role in making the magic happen at this year’s Witches Dance Bizarre Bazaar?

The WDBB has grown in popularity so much over the last several years that we now find ourselves wondering how we’re going to manage it all! For the first time in WDBB history, we are actively searching for volunteers to help us on the day of the big event.

*You must be 18 years or older to volunteer.

We have several different types of volunteering positions available, and multiple shifts [blocks of time] on the day of the event to choose from.

We will provide food and beverages for you, and you’ll be given a free WDBB Tshirt and an Event Staff Badge. Plus, you’ll have major bragging rights for helping to make such an awesome and unique event successful (as well as our immense gratitude for being so incredibly generous and supportive)!!

Dancing at Earth Day Jam was a lot of fun! Everyone‘s costumes looked great! A big thank you to our drummers Prasanna and Caleb for leading our group to the stage!

Calling all dancing Spring witches/fairies and volunteers to play drums to lead us to the stage! We dance at Earth Day Jam this Saturday, April 18th around 6:00 - 6:15pm in front of the main stage. Can everyone please meet around 5:30 pm near the main stage. Just look for the pointy hats lol.
Just a reminder that it will be busy in Downtown Salisbury that day and parking may be a challenge.

Merry Meet Witches! We are once again planning on dancing at this year’s Earth Day Jam on Saturday, April 18th. We do not have an exact time yet but, it will be closer to the evening (6ish?) We will be doing the same dance with the same song. If you would like to dance with us at this event or be a drummer to lead us into the stage area, comment below so we can get an idea of how many of us there will be. We are planning to meet at Bell Tower Green soon to make a plan of action and have a quick practice. More details to come. Thanks!
