The lady Indians traveled to Newtown, Pennsylvania (outside Philadelphia) to tour the grounds of Aronimink Golf Club for the PGA of America’s annual Career Exploration Day in coordination with the PGA Championship next week. The girls recieved an inside look at careers in the golf industry, as well as how the tournament is run. As part of the day, they heard from golf professionals, engineers and various other reprentatives:

The girls were able to walk the grounds of the tournament, see the championship trophy but more importantly see all the career opportunities that exist in golf (no matter your area of expertise or interest). As the day came to an end, the girls also got an opportunity to take in some American history as they traveled to Independence Hall to see the Liberty Bell. A first time experience for most of them, they walked the grounds where America was born 250 years ago. An all-around fun and educational trip for these young women.

We couldn’t be more appreciative and thankful for the opportunities the PGA of America and the Northern Ohio PGA section create for our golfers.

The lady Indians concluded their season today with the OHSAA Sectionals at Pine Lakes. The Indians struggled early in the day and finished in 11th place with a 445. Despite the season coming to an end, the lady Indians have a lot to be proud of. Team records for lowest 18 hole score and most wins was set, as well as individual records such as most birdies in a round. The team also featured two Honorable Mention EOAC golfers and were the first school in EOAC history to have 4 women compete for a league championship. We couldn't be prouder of all of the time and passion the ladies put into this season! 💙💛

The lady Indians traveled to Crispin Golf Course at Oglebay for the OVAC Championships. Competing against golfers from 33 schools across all 5 classes, the Indians finished 11th overall. Their team score of a 399 set a new school record, besting the old record by 27 shots. Senior Alyssa Deeley recorded her 1st birdie of the season, while Senior Lola Perfetto picked up her 3rd. Four of the girls also recorded their personal best scores. The Indians return to action tomorrow at Mill Creek Golf Course against Canfield.

The men's Indians team traveled to Crispin Golf Course for the OVAC Championships. Battling dry and fast conditions, the Indians competed against the best in the OVAC. The men will be back in action at Salem Hills next Thursday for OHSAA Div 3 Sectionals.

Senior night for the lady Indians as we honored our two senior golfers Lola Perfetto and Alyssa Deeley. These two remarkable women have not only been great golfers this year but even better teammates. Their growth as golfers over their years in the program has been a large part of the success we have seen as a team ok the course. We will miss them!
