The INDYCAR season finale is here—and this weekend at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca goes far beyond the racing.

Experience the INDYCAR Expo featuring historic race cars both on display and back on track, including Gil de Ferran’s championship-winning 2001 Team Penske Reynard Honda, driven by Zak Brown and Tony Kanaan.

Some races become part of a circuit’s story.

The 1983 Cribari Wines 300K was one of them.

For the first time, the CART IndyCar World Series came to Laguna Seca Raceway, with Teo Fabi, Chip Ganassi, Mario Andretti, Michael Andretti, Bobby Rahal, Al Unser Sr., and Al Unser Jr. among some of the notable names on the grid.

Teo Fabi claimed victory, but the race marked something larger: the beginning of Indy car racing at Laguna Seca.

More than four decades later, that legacy continues at WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca during the 2026 Mission Foods Grand Prix of Monterey.
