Building the Foundation: Grit, Growth, and Teamwork on the Lanes
A big week of practice is in the books for Kansas Wesleyan Bowling, and it was one that truly tested our resolve.
This week on the lanes was far from easy. Between demanding pattern transitions and technical adjustments several of our bowlers faced real frustration and fatigue. Progress at this level rarely comes without friction, and there were moments during practice where shots werenโt carrying and the lane conditions demanded every ounce of patience our players had. What defined this week, however, wasnโt the missed targets or tough breaks, it was the response.
Instead of letting frustration take over, our bowlers kept their heads up, leaned on one another, and stayed focused through every frame. We seen resilience shown not just by the skill of this group, but their maturity and character as student-athletes.
We could not be prouder that this is our squad for the upcoming season. Seeing the way these athletes support one another through the hard days proves that the foundation weโre building is solid.
With our upcoming tournaments just around the corner, this week gave us the exact competitive edge we need. Weโre locked in, hungry to compete, and excited to show everyone what Coyote Bowling is made of when tournament lights turn on.
