My apologies friends and anglers for being silent so long. After a couple months of accidents, surgeries, and other health conditions, I'm back on the mend. I wanted to introduce my newest tungsten offering, Dr Scott's FBG Tungsten Mojo Weights. They have started selling well and I think they fill a void in the tungsten market. They are smaller on one end(think grass) and larger and rounded on the other ( wood & open cover). That rounded end is how I came up with the FBG moniker. It made me think of a classic Queen song. I'll be passing along some hints and tricks that have been passed along to me by some who have used them.

I hope everyone has been able to get out on the water at least for some relaxation and the opportunity to catch a few. I've been putting off today for quite some time. After six postal rate increases over the past five years, I am finally having to increase my pricing for the first time with my online sales. Thanks for everyone's support over the last five years and be assured, I will not reduce the quality of Dr Scotts Tungsten. Some things are just too important.

Gotta give a shout-out to Matt Gamble. Matt and his partner just fished the Muscle Shoals Songwriters Tournament and not only brought in the Big Fish of the tournament using Dr Scotts Tungsten but that big girl was also Matt's PB. Congratulations Matt and thank you for trusting Dr Scotts Tungsten.

The weekend that almost wasn't turned out pretty well. Miles and I pulled out a win at the Coastal Plains 2 day on the Roanoke River. We were in 5th place, 7 pounds behind the leaders on day one with 8.90 pounds. Sunday was one of those magical days and we rebounded with an 18 pound limit. All 10 fish that went to the scales were caught using Dr Scott's Tungsten Flipping weights. The weather should be fairing off where everyone can get outside for some time on the water.

I'm a little slow posting this one. Miles and I pulled out another win with Coastal Plains Fishing Club weekend before last on Lake Gaston. Biggest limit of spots I've ever personally seen. There's a reason we looked like a couple of drowned rats! Hoping to make it 3 in a row this weekend at Falls Lake. It's going to be a wet one for the South East. Hope those that can get out and enjoy some time on the water. Tight Lines

Well we started off 2024 with a W. Miles and I came out on top in the Coastal Plains Fishing Clubs 1st tournament of the year. I did we, actually I was just the net man. Miles did all the catching. I hope everyone is able to get out on the water and stretch a line on some of these girls while they're coming up. Tight Lines

Well I finally finished my winter project. I recarpeted my 2003 201 Pro XL. I took my time and am really pleased with how it turned out. But the new carpet makes the old seats look lost Hope to be able to update those soon and my switch covers
