The Renegades are our C-Level team, focused on building skating and derby skills, gaining game experience, and developing the confidence to compete at higher levels. 🛼

Whether you’re newer to derby or looking to take your skills to the next level, the Renegades are here to help you grow, learn, and get more derby under your wheels. ❤️‍🔥

In ONE WEEK, Cherry City 8 Wheel Assassins will be holding our open tryouts on Thursday September 10 at 6:30 PM at the Madhouse!

8WA is the charter team here at Cherry City Roller Derby, and we’re excited to invite you to join us on the track!

💀 THE BONEYARD BRAWLERS ARE BACK! 🪦

Starting this fall, we're reviving the Boneyard Brawlers! The Brawlers will be an open-gender B-team, and we’re looking for both skaters AND coaches!

Weekly Brawlers practices begin Wednesday, September 16, from 7:30–9:30 PM at the Madhouse, with tryouts happening during scrimmage on Thursday, October 15, from 6:30–8:30 PM.

Until tryouts, Brawlers practices are OPEN TO EVERYONE, and the usual drop-in fee is WAIVED! 🎉

Come check us out, get some skating in, and see what the Brawlers are all about!

We’re bringing them back!!

Starting this fall, Cherry City Roller Derby is reviving the Boneyard Brawlers! The Boneyard Brawlers will be an Open-Gender B-team, and we are looking for both skaters and coaches!

Brawlers will have weekly practices beginning on Wednesday September 16th from 7:30-9:30pm at the Madhouse, and tryouts on Thursday October 15th during scrimmage from 6:30-8:30pm! Prior to tryouts, practices are OPEN to everyone, and the usual drop-in fee is WAIVED! Come check us out!

We wrapped up our summer break and had our first Thursday night scrimmage of the season last night! We do low, moderate and high level jams to accommodate different skill levels. 🛼✨

Thanks to all the skaters, officials, and volunteers for making this a great night of derby fun! ❤️🖤

To our local derby community and to those traveling through Salem, come join our open scrimmages! Every Thursday! $5 drop in fee and insurance required. Must be scrimmage cleared by your league and have passed minimum skills. 🍒💀

Yesterday’s league picnic was exactly what we needed! ❤️🖤

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to hang, eat, laugh, and spend some quality time together without immediately trying to knock each other over. 😂

Roller derby is so much more than what happens on the track. It’s the friendships, the community, the volunteers, the inside jokes, the support, and the people who show up for each other. 🛼

Feeling extra appreciative of our weird, wonderful derby family. Thanks for a fantastic picnic Cherry City! We're looking forward to everything we’ll get up to together this season. ✨🍒

Today we’re celebrating smeone who somehow manages to be behind the camera AND out on the track! 📸🔥

Vixen has been capturing Cherry City Roller Derby’s chaos, joy, sweat, bruises, celebrations, and everything in between as a derby photographer and last season, she decided to jump into the action herself as a skater!

From documenting our league to becoming part of the story, Vixen has brought so much energy, creativity, and enthusiasm to Cherry City. We’re SO stoked to watch her keep growing, skating, creating, and absolutely being a badass. She even won most improved beginner at our Black and Red Ball! 🎈🖤❤️
