🔧 Official Update from Atheris Rifle Co. 🔧
As much as we — the new ownership team — would like to continue backfilling all outstanding Atheris backorders, we cannot continue to lose money fulfilling orders placed under the previous ownership, and we only had limited information on back orders that we could fill.
Effective October 31, 2025, all new sales will be placed on hold.
Moving forward, Zach Kurtis, the former owner of Atheris Rifle Co., will be taking back over and will be fully responsible for fulfilling all previous backorders, parts, rifles, and upper receiver shipments, before we officially take over 100%.

Providing a copy or screenshot of your original order, invoice, or receipt will help ensure your concern is logged and addressed quickly. Please include your full name, order number, contact information, and a brief description of what items or components are missing. The more information provided, the faster the process can move forward toward resolution.

We want to be very clear — we understand your frustration, and you have every right to feel disappointed. Many of you have waited far too long, and that is not acceptable. Please remember, we are trying to help, and our goal is to help facilitate a resolution, not to distance ourselves from the issue. We are doing everything within our means to help make this right, while ensuring accountability from those responsible for the original transactions.
We also want to be fully transparent: We, as the new owners, do not — and repeat, do not — have any information regarding past backorders and are not responsible or to be held responsible for any previous transactions or unfulfilled orders. However, we will continue to assist and support customers as much as possible throughout this process to ensure communication and progress remain open.
This is about honoring commitments and restoring trust. Every customer who placed an order deserves to receive exactly what they paid for. Until all outstanding orders are fulfilled, we cannot — and will not — move forward with new builds or sales. Integrity, transparency, and follow-through are the foundation of how we intend to rebuild Atheris. Only when these backorders are complete can we move ahead confidently, with a clean slate and renewed trust from our customers.
Atheris has a great product and outstanding quality, and we’re committed to keeping that legacy alive once fulfillment is complete.
