Ready to spend your summer poolside? 🌊 Applications are officially OPEN for Lifeguards and Swim Instructors at Madrona Pool! 🏊‍♂️

The Details:

➡️ Age: Must be 15+ by summer.

➡️ Certification: Must be Lifeguard Certified before the season starts (available through the Red Cross, YMCA, or Dallas Aquatics).

➡️ Note: Certification is at the applicant’s own cost but remains valid for 2 years!

➡️ Deadline: March 15th 🗓️

Did you miss your volunteer hours? If you have unfulfilled volunteer hours or an unpaid buy-out fee, look for an upcoming email from the Membership committee. You will find payment instructions there (or via the button below), but please be aware a late fee will be added after October 9, 2025.

Heads up, Madrona Pool members! 🏊‍♀️ The pool is closed today, August 1st, as we work to resolve an issue with unsafe chemical levels caused by our new chlorinator. Our pool company is working to get everything sorted. We appreciate your patience!

Unfortunately, we have to close the pool for the day today, August 1st. We've found that the chemical levels are currently unsafe for swimming.
