The kwon moo Hapkido federation is a professional Martial arts Federation That was founded by Grand Master Chae UN KIM 8th Dan in the Korea Hapkido Association and kwon moo hapkido is a registered and sanctioned kwan of the Korea Hapkido Association . Before coming to the United States Master Kim perfected his style of Hapkido. The results of his hard work and dedication pr

oduced a highly effective non-sense approach to self -defense. Master Kims' style of Hapkido covers every aspect from standing to the ground. Master Kims' style is so effective, it has been taught to Special Forces of South Korea and the United states as well as Military police and S.W.A.T members. With all of said. Master Kim has also made this a family friendly Child safe Martial Art. The chief instructor for the Kwon Moo Hapkido Federation in Salem Oregon is instructor, Joey McMaster. McMaster is a 3rd Dan certified instructor by Grand Master Kim. McMaster has over 25 years of experience and is highly qualified to teach Hapkido. McMaster always says, " Its not the belt that makes you who you are, it is the skill that you develop that makes it possible to adequately defend yourself ".

We are now located at 3513 Fairview industrial Dr. Salem Oregon Adult class on Thursday will include warm ups punching basic twisting 1-5 kicking punch defense 1-3 and began falling back fall Wednesday kids class warm up basic punching rolls and falls and kicking beginning this Saturday we will have an open gym for current students from noon till 3 and sunday noon till 3

The importance of learning self defense is on the rise.
Would you like to learn Hapkido?!
Hapkido is a form of Martial Arts that focuses on the ability to protect yourself and your loved ones, appropriately and effectively and is not a sport orientated martial art.
Not only will you learn valuable techniques in self defense but the training will allow you to become more physically fit and less likely to be a target and/or a victim of abuse or bullying. You will gain confidence in yourself and in the ability to defend your self .
Physical fitness promotes a healthier life style and wouldn't it be nice to have your children do something beside playing video games.
Childrens' classes also teach the fundamentals of respect, focus and discipline.

Onsite childcare is available for those in adult classes.
