If you were not aware Salem Community Park Disc Golf is CLOSED.
We are working with the town to reopen the course for play. It is critical to the future of the course that everyone be respectful of the towns wishes to temporarily close the course. There hasn’t been any accidents or injuries but there are some safety concerns that need to be addressed.
Please refrain from posting any negative comments, concerns, ideas, opinions or negative feelings. Have confidence that there is a team of well educated resourceful people who will be working towards a solution to reopen the course.

We are elated for all the positive feedback today for the course. Thanks to the small group of volunteers that helped along the way for this course. This project would have never existed if it were not for the vision of Shawn Callaghan. I am grateful I could be part of this amazing property. The disc golf community is fortunate the town shared Shawn’s vision and fully supported it.
There a lot that has to happen to get a course off the ground and playable beyond its Construction.
If you ever have the opportunity to volunteer to help at any course in our state please Give Back, it’s the only way our courses will continue to get better and maintain their integrity.
