We love projects that come with a rich history! This beautiful shotgun belongs to local roping legend Jim Vaughan, who shared the story of seeing it in his family's living room corner as a child. You can only imagine the memories this piece holds.
Our goal was to restore it to its former glory. It still has its well-earned "character," but it looks much better and is now safe and functional. Jim plans to display it on his wall, ensuring this cherished heirloom lasts another 100+ years. Since he's not on Facebook, we’re happy to share this special restoration with all of you.

We don't have a lot free time to post our projects these days but this one was worth posting. Nothing fancy but a historical piece for sure. An old family heirloom came in that was severally rusted and smoke damaged. A Re*****on model 10 from the early 1900's. We completely stripped it down refinished the furniture and went with a high gloss black cerakote on the metal. High polish on the bolt and intervals for smooth operation. These models are quick teardown but the parts were seized and did not function. It functions as good as new now and with the added protection of cerakote they won't have to worry about rust ever again. Thank you for allowing us to work on such a nice piece of history!
