Today is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 118:24

Not every day looks as beautiful as this picture, but we must remember that it is the day that the Lord has made! We chose to respond to things around us by what we are surrounded by. If the day looks good we are good if it is gloomy we are gloomy.
This is a choice.
We need to focus on Psalm 118:24 and remember to rejoice in it no matter what it looks like!

Dolly Parton always talked about her dreams. The fact is she never stop chasing them! The reality is she made so many of them come true.
I admired Dolly and looked up to her so much she is and always will be an inspiration to me and many others.

One thing that has hit me very hard is she recently talked about her health and how when she was taking care of her husband Carl and not paying attention to her health.

I see so many people taking care of loved ones and pour everything into them that it takes a toll on them. I know first hand because I had to take care of my mother who had alzheimer's.

YOU ARE NO GOOD TO ANYONE IF YOU DON'T TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF!

Please take care of yourself physically and spiritually.

Many times we get excited to start something but as soon as it gets hard we stop! Don't get discouraged! Great things take hard work and time to get the rewards.
It might take some time to see results but if we give up now we will never see the results. Always keep digging!

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26

Put your faith in Him and never stop!

So many times in life we get so busy with all the things happening around us that we get overwhelmed. Sometimes so much that it can cripple us. We need to learn to be still. Just as the water in this picture. We can learn so much by being still letting go of all the things that are disrupting our lives.
Hand over all your burdens to God and allow Him to hand you back what you need to do.

1 Peter 5:7: Give all your worries to God. He cares for you.

It's not always easy to get going in the morning, but starting the day with a little bit of exercise will give you a boost for the day. Try it for a week and I promise you will see a difference in your energy level!
