Thursday, 9/3: West Washington Match
Tuesday, 9/8: Salem Match
Thursday, 9/10: West Washington Match
Thursday, 9/17: East Washington Match

🏆 2026 Club Championship Weekend
The big tournament is here! Please note the special course hours for members:
Saturday, 9/12: Tournament action begins. Tee times are blocked for members from 8:00 AM – 10:00 AM. Call the Pro Shop now to secure your morning slot!

Sunday, 9/13: Championship final rounds. The course will be CLOSED after 12:00 PM.

🎉 Couples & Scramble Events
Friday, 9/4: Last Friday Couples! Grab your partner for a fun evening on the course.

Saturday, 9/19: West Washington Basketball Scramble. Note the modified course hours: 1/2 day only (Closed from 2:00 PM ON).
Sunday, 9/20: West Washington Basketball Event continuation. The course is CLOSED all day.

Sunday, 9/27: Scottsburg Match (Away at Westwood).

Calling all Western Hills Country Club members!
It is time to assemble our ultimate squad for the upcoming 27-Hole Match against Green Acres Golf Course.
We need our Best 24 golfers to step up, represent, and take home the win! 🏆

📅 Date: Saturday, August 22, 2026
⏰ Time: Sh***un start at 9:00 AM
📍 Location: Green Acres Golf Course
💵 Member Cost: $65 (Includes $30 Course Fee, $25 Bet, and $10 Big Skin Bet)
🏌️‍♂️ Match Format
This is a 2-man team format with 36 total points up for grabs (18.5 wins!).
First 9: Scramble
Second 9: Best Ball
Final 9: Alternate Shot
(Scoring: Win = 1 point, Tie = 0.5 points per 9-holes)
⚠️ Important Note: Tournament directors will select the final top 24 players from the signup sheet. We also need extra golfers to sign up as alternates in case of any dropouts.

🚨 Schedule Update & Western Hills Open News 🚨

Attention Members & Golfers:

To properly prepare the course for the Western Hills Open on Saturday morning, we are making a few schedule adjustments for this week:

Friday Couples: There will be no Friday Couples this week.

Friday Tee Times: The last tee time for 9 holes on Friday will be strictly at 4:00 PM.

The course will be closed for the remainder of the day for tournament prep.

Open Spots Available: We have had a few late dropouts, and there are currently 2 spots remaining for the Western Hills Open.
Please Contact Us at (812) 620-1589 immediately if you wish to fill one of these open slots.

REMINDER: Food will be available for purchase from KB’s Snack Shack ALL DAY Saturday and Sunday!

Sign up by Tuesday, August 11, as brackets drop and matches start on August 15. You Must sign up with a partner.

⚙️ Format & Rules

Team Scoring: Best net score between the two partners wins the hole.

Handicap Off-the-Low: The lowest handicap player in the foursome drops to a 0. Everyone else subtracts that low handicap from theirs to get their match strokes.

Current Index: You use your exact USGA handicap active on the day you play.

Local Rule: You can improve your lie by up to one scorecard length within the same cut of grass.

Flexibility: Teams are responsible for scheduling their own tee times. You get a strict 2-week window per round, or it comes down to a coin flip.

💰 CostsEntry Fee: $25 one-time fee.
Cart Fee: $10 per player for each match played.
