Upward Family,

Tomorrow, we invite everyone to wear a shirt from something that reminds you of Mr. Chris. He made a HUGE impact in our community, and we want to show up like he did in so many of our lives.

Whether it’s CBC Kids, Xtreme Kidz, Upward, baseball, church, or something else, wear a shirt that represents your connection to him.

We know there will be many different shirts in the room, each representing a special connection and memory.

Today, the Upward family mourns the loss of Chris Rogers.

Chris was a man who loved the Lord, and you could see that love in the way he lived his life. He served others wholeheartedly, poured into children and families, and gave so much of himself to our community.

His faith was more than something he talked about. It was reflected in the way he encouraged others, led with compassion, and made people feel valued and loved. He understood that serving others was an opportunity to reflect Christ.

Chris touched far more lives than he probably ever realized. His impact reaches across our entire community, and the example he leaves behind will continue through the many lives he invested in.

We are thankful for the way he loved the Lord, loved people, and faithfully served both.

While our hearts are heavy, we can find comfort knowing that Chris is now home with his Savior, the One he loved and served so faithfully.

Rest easy, Chris. Until we meet again. ❤️

Southeast, you gave us SO much to cheer for in Williamsport! What an incredible run and an accomplishment this community can be proud of. ❤️⚾️

We may not have gotten the ending we hoped for, but getting to Williamsport is something these players will never forget. You represented Southeast with heart, hard work, and determination every step of the way.
