**This is a non-performing class focused on training only**

This class is for the adventurous students wanting to move beyond the shapes and explore more dynamic motion. In this class, we create more efficiency in our movement by applying concepts from physics as it relates to aerial. Class is led by Laël Smith who has extensive training in dynamic work, has completed intensives/trainings through NECCA (New England Center for Circus Arts) in Battleboro, VT, and is a current Ascension Dance Company member.
Due to the highly physical nature of this class, please report any injuries (Even if they’re small) to us via text if they arise. Safety is a top priority at SADC. Kim will come at some point to communicate with this class about recovery techniques that can be incorporated at home.

Studio/instructor approval is required for this course. This class is not based on age, but on skill level. For safety purposes all aerialists need to have midriff coverage, and are asked to bring a long sleeve layer. Students may register for the season, or participate on a drop in basis. If you’re curious if this class may be the right fit for your student, please reach out to us via text.
