The Veterans Appreciation Game was a super fun game sponsored by Local Plumbing and the jerseys were definitely a fan and team favorite!! They sponsored this game in the name of the nonprofit Courtney Place Veterans Housing (just like they did for their Local IPA beer brewed by Santiam Brewing). We’re excited to partner with 1525.co again and host our 4th plogging event in Salem! Plogging is a combination of walking, jogging, or running - and picking up trash 🚮

1525.co adopted the street in front of their business complex and will be responsible for SE Hawthorne Ave - between Center and Mission. (Both sides of the street) 🚯

Join us Saturday, September 12th at 10:00am. We’ll meet at 1525.co, 200 Hawthorne Ave SE, Suite D430, Salem 97301, and get everyone outfitted with gloves, trash bags, safety vests, and a picker if you’d like one. There will be a waiver for you to sign for the city if you are new. So mark your calendar! 🗓️

We plan to pick up trash for about 1.5 hours. Of course, with lots of volunteers, we may be done sooner. Hopefully we’ll see a bunch of Salem Capitals Basketball fans. Bonus points if you come in Caps Gear.
Once we’re all done, we’ll meet back at 1525.co for donuts~ let us know if you can make it so we get enough! 🍩
