Only our second race in these cars and we’ve added more to our notebook. Still more work to do, but we will get there.

DOUBLE HEADER Recap! After taking some time to reflect… Man, what a day at The Salem Speedway!

Modified- 🥉

Upon arriving at the race track for my first open wheel race ever, we had two goals. Finish the race completing all 50 laps and learn as much as possible. Ended up qualifying 5th. After making big gains through out the day we found ourselves punching well above our weight class with this little engine and pulled off a 3rd place finish against some heavy hitters!

Street Stock- 🥈

After two DNFs with a bad fast race car we were looking for redemption. Missed the pole in qualifying due to the car over traveling and hitting the track. Corrected that and set the car on cruise control for the first 25 laps. Then DOMINATED our way to the front. With a healthy lead, a devastating caution fell on the white flag. The Green-White-Checkered didn’t go in our favor. Ending with a 2nd place finish.

Overall nothing to hang our heads about. 2 race cars with podium finishes and more fuel to perform better. See y’all at the next one!
