🇩🇴⚾ Baseball is bigger than borders.

One of the best parts of our time in the Dominican Republic has been spending time with these young ballplayers.

Different backgrounds, different opportunities, but the same love for the game.

It’s easy to get caught up in wins, losses, rankings, and everything else that surrounds youth baseball. But sometimes you need to be reminded of why we all fell in love with this game in the first place.

These kids are a great reminder.

From Salado, Texas, to Cabarete, Dominican Republic, baseball continues to bring us together.

Different countries. Same game. Same dreams.

⚾️ NEARLY 5 MPH GAIN! 🔥🦍

Beau Knight came out to our Silverback Performance Pitching Clinic and showed some serious potential!

After identifying an opportunity to improve his pitching mechanics and making a targeted adjustment, Beau saw his fastball velocity increase by nearly 5 MPH during the session! 🚀

Sometimes, it’s not about throwing harder. It’s about learning how to move more efficiently and use your body effectively.

Now the goal is to build consistency, reinforce those adjustments, and turn that improvement into lasting development.

Great work, Beau! We’re excited to see you continue progressing! 💪⚾️

⚾️🦍 TODAY WAS A SPECIAL DAY FOR OUR SILVERBACK FAMILY!

Today, Sam hit his FIRST over-the-fence home run! 💣

To some, it might just be another home run. But to us, this moment means so much more.

When Sam first came to Silverback over two years ago, he was scared to even stay in the batter’s box and hit. Fast forward to today, and that same young man is sending baseballs over the fence!

It’s hard not to get emotional thinking about how far he’s come.

We’ve watched Sam grow, overcome his fears, build confidence, and continue showing up to put in the work. He’s become one of our most dedicated athletes, and moments like this remind us why we do what we do.

But this accomplishment doesn’t belong to Sam alone. It also belongs to a family that has trusted us, supported him, and believed in his development every step of the way. That kind of trust means more to us than words can express.

The home run is what we’ll celebrate today. But the courage, dedication, and growth it took to get here are what make this moment unforgettable.

Sam, we couldn’t be prouder of you! You’ve earned every bit of this moment.

There’s plenty we can criticize about youth and travel baseball.

But some coaches deserve a lot more credit than they get.

Especially the coach who doesn’t even have a kid on the team.

Weeknight dinners.

Weekends.

Family events.

Time with their own children.

All sacrificed to help someone else’s kid get better.

And many of them aren’t making much money—or any money at all.

They’re there because they genuinely care about the athletes.

Those coaches deserve recognition.

Where should your athlete actually be at this stage of his baseball life?

Not where the best kid on his team is.

Not where another parent says he should be.

Not where social media makes you think he should be.

Where does YOUR athlete need to be right now?

At 7, that may be learning fundamentals and how to handle failure.

At 11, building mechanics and athleticism.

At 13, getting stronger and preparing for the bigger field.

At 15, turning those skills into performance.

Development isn’t a race to see who looks the most advanced the earliest.

Build the player he needs to become later.

NEW PR — 88.2 MPH EXIT VELOCITY 💥

Jaxon Lankford just turned 16, and this was a big step forward.

Jaxon came into this session with a previous PR below this mark. Throughout the night he was consistently producing 86–87 mph exit velocities, before topping out at 88.2 mph.

One of the things we worked on was using the King of the Hill to help him feel better front-side stability — driving into the front leg, creating a stronger brace, and allowing energy to transfer more efficiently through the kinetic chain and into the bat.

During the session, we saw an immediate 2–3 mph jump in his exit velocity.

The important part isn’t just the PR. It’s that the 86–87 mph swings started becoming repeatable.

Ages 9–13 | $75 per athlete

Work on swing mechanics, lower-half use, timing, and consistent contact through coached hitting repetitions, with feedback from our HitTrax and Rapsodo technology.

Bring your bat, batting helmet, and water.

Ages 11–13 | $600 per athlete, per program

Prepare for spring with a focused HITTING or PITCHING development program.

Each package includes two assigned training sessions per week, with technology and performance feedback included. Hitting uses HitTrax and Rapsodo; pitching uses Rapsodo.
