Vom Briermeister Drahthaar Kennel A Sound Mind in a Sound Body; Bred to the VDD Standard

Begun in 2002, our goal is to leave a legacy of foundation-bred hunting dogs for future hunters and Drahthaar breeders. We produce very few puppies trying to focus more on carefully bred youngsters with deep pedigrees, moving the Bell Curve to the right.

Me & Eddie Cassell in Kansas a decade or more ago. Eddie had told me he knew a good place to hunt but about 100 miles into the trip, I asked him where we were going?
“Well, I’m not sure.” he replied!
We ended up in Marysville KS totally clueless about where to hunt. But, a GSP guy felt sorry for us & gave us some tips.
The trip turned out to be a wonderful adventure! Great dog work and we shot well. I feel sorry for any hunters who followed us on the public land!
I was unsure if Eddie drank whiskey or not. He did 😅. Lot’s of interesting side lights this trip. Ask me about them sometime .
A great memory for both of us.
