Anti swimmers ear- infection drops! Two years ago I was getting REALLY bad ear infections whenever the allergens got bad. If you know me, you know I’m not the type of swim instructor who stays above the water. I’m underwater just as much as the kids.! I was in so much pain. During one of my extremely painful ear infections, I ended up at the ENT. He told me I need to use eardrops after each time I swim. I should have known better since my mom always did this for me when I was a kid after swim team.
 It seemed too simple, but I started using a mixture of
70% rubbing alcohol and 30% vinegar.

I have not had one ear infection since then!!!

You can buy these premade at drugstores, but I just make them myself and put them in droppers.

Here’s a no-go for me-
goggles With a covered nose piece.

You may have a kid who hates getting water up their nose….but please have them endure a little bit of discomfort in the beginning so they can learn breath control and blowing bubbles out of their nose. If you don’t, they will have a much harder time learning in the future. They become dependent on them and think they need to hold their nose every time they go under.
