Time for a huge shout out to the Programs everywhere! Our daughter Maddie has been participating for years.
From the Opening Ceremonies to the outstanding performances and commitments from all the participants we had a wonderful day. Thank you to all the volunteers who give unconditional love and support to our athletes as well as the vibrant crowd cheering everyone on. Our hearts were full when we showed up and overflowing when we left. Maddie was loved on and supported by her coaches,teammates, family and friends. Thank you from the middle of our hearts 💞 .

8/29 Looking for a speaker?

Hey, it’s Clint.
You know how much I enjoy sharing lessons about leadership, about resilience, about showing up for the people around you. Speaking is one of my favorite ways to do that.

8/27 My daughter Maddie loves dogs more than people. She knows every dog on the island by name and breed. Never met a stranger's dog she didn't already have a nickname for.

Somebody once told me that dog is God spelled backwards.

Maddie never needed anyone to spell it out for her.

Some reminders for me from the road trip with my dad…..

Before its too Late,

Let life interrupt your plans.

Stay a little longer after the laughter fades.

Tell people what they mean to you while they can still hear it.

Look people in the eye when you say “I love you”

Watch the sunrise 🌅 and the sunset 🌆.

Call someone you love once a week.

Say yes to the extra time it takes.

A milkshake for lunch is a good idea.

Let yourself wonder and revisit good times.

Make peace with the versions of yourself you've outgrown.

Forgive more often.

Loosen your grip on what was never yours to keep.

Love because….

Care without counting.

Hunt bad you’ll find it. Hunt good you’ll find it.

Keep choosing kindness, even when no one is watching.

Keep making things that carry pieces of your heart.

Keep believing that the smallest moments are often the ones that shape a life.

Because in the end,
We'll remember who we loved, what made us laugh, the conversations that stayed with us, and how fully we let ourselves live.

8/21 Before the 2007 season, I told our team something I'd never told a team before.

I called a meeting and said I didn't know what the year would bring, but I knew it would be worth it.

Then I said the part I'd never said to a full team before: I need your help. I don't bat a thousand on my decisions. I need feedback.

I laid out the rule for it. If a player had something for me, don't grab me right after I've pulled you from a game, standing next to each other in front of everybody. Come find me after, or the next day, and we'll talk it through.

Asking your own team for help isn't the move that looks strong on paper.

I remember someone in that room telling me afterward that a manager admitting he needed help said more than a manager pretending he didn't.

We went to the World Series that October.

I don't know if the speech had anything to do with it. But I know I've never regretted giving it.

Imagine what could change if you told the people you lead that you need their help too?

8/19 🤔’s from Cooperstown and Doubleday Field ⚾️🇺🇸🙌🏼

We had a day!!! 130 Special Needs Adults participated in our 6th Annual Pathfinder Village Baseball Clinic. We had 12 former players from the volunteer their day. We also had volunteers and aides to help with the adults. We had 200 big hearted 💙💜 people in the field. Thanks to Monica Clark ,Emily Castro and Josh Rawitch & Jon Shestakofsky
for all their incredible help!

Many times we had to pause as the amount of infield dust getting in our eyes 👀 was overwhelming. My dad and I played catch!!!

Blessings everywhere yesterday ….to see our campers have a fun filled day at the best park in the USA put a smile on our hearts and a tear in our eyes!
Thank you to all who participated and helped.

A reminder for us all to surround ourselves with people who are excited about life … those who are curious … who want to experience something great … who are enthusiastic for their dreams ….
Vibes are more contagious than you can imagine ….
Let their uplifting energy and positive outlook rub off on you …
