More than 40 of the world’s top X Games pros are bringing the heat to St. Pete, as Al Lang Stadium introduces SPX – St. Pete Action Sports. From Bill Edwards Presents and ASA Entertainment, this exciting two-day event is a non-stop, heart-pounding competition featuring the very best in Skateboard, BMX and Freestyle Motocross (FMX). At SPX 2015, fans will witness intense competition between the spo

rt’s top pros, such as 27-time X Games medalist Bob Burnquist, 10-time X Games Gold Medalist Bucky Lasek, 9-time X Games Gold Medalist Pierre-Luc Gagnon, and 16-time X Games Medalist Ryan Nyquist. Other top-tier competitors registered include Skateboarders Andy Macdonald, Mitchie Brusco, Jimmy Wilkins, Sandro Dias and Elliot Sloan; BMX stars Kyle Baldock, James Foster, Pat Casey, Morgan Wade, Zack Warden, Colton Satterfield and Nicholi Rogatkin; Freestyle Motocross legends like Adam Jones, Taka Higoshino, Mike Mason, Brody Wilson and Javier Villegas; and many more across the three sports. Among the world-class competitions are Big Air Triples, which features the best BMX riders on the planet doing three consecutive jumps on a 200-foot-long by 32-foot-high ramp, and Skate Vert on the actual half-pipe from the X Games. Revving up the intensity will be the Freestyle Motocross pros, whose backflips and whips will leave spectators on the edge of their seats in both head-to-head and best trick contests. This once-in-a-lifetime field of talent collectively has won more than 140 combined X Games medals!
