A little reel time. A little tee time. A whole lotta fun at Isla.

Fins & Skins is coming September 25–27, bringing members together for three days of friendly competition on the course and on the water.

Teams will start with 9 holes of golf on Friday, trade their clubs for rods during Saturday’s fishing day, then finish with another 9 holes on Sunday, followed by an awards cookout.

Entry is $400 per four-person team, and all teammates must participate in both golf and fishing.

We need enough teams on board to give this tournament the green light, so don’t wait to take the bait. Gather your crew, get your vessel details ready, and reply to the Club email as soon as possible to sign up.

Theme Dinner season returns to Isla this fall!.

Members are invited to join us on Monday, October 5 for An Evening with Terri & Eric Chavez, the first themed dinner of the 2026–2027 season.

This special evening will bring a tropical twist to the Clubhouse dining experience, beginning with an island-style charcuterie display and Chef’s elevated Caesar salad. For dinner, members will enjoy Island-Spiced Beef Tenderloin & Butter-Poached Scallops, served with coconut-jasmine rice, grilled pineapple, and roasted seasonal vegetables. A Caribbean Jerk Chicken alternate entrée will also be available.

The evening ends on a sweet island note with Mango Crème Brûlée, accompanied by a shot of Piña Colada.

Tropical prints and bright Caribbean colors are encouraged, so come dressed for the theme and ready to enjoy a flavorful start to the season.

Summer may be starting to wind down, but weekends at Bayside are still very much in season.

Make plans to spend part of your weekend poolside at Bayside Grille & Bogie’s, where members can enjoy al fresco dining, live entertainment, and this week’s specials through Monday, September 14.

This weekend’s menu features Buffalo Shrimp Wraps, Little Mac Sliders, and the Endless Summer Chopped Salad — perfect for a relaxed lunch, an easy dinner by the pool, or something to enjoy while the music plays.

End of summer, Isla style.

Racquet members and guests are invited to join us on Sunday, September 20 for the End of Summer Extravaganza, a full Sunday of breakfast, pickleball, poolside time, and live music at the Club.

Start the morning with Sunday breakfast in the Clubhouse from 10:00 AM–1:00 PM, then head to the courts for the Pickleball End of Summer Extravaganza Round Robin from 1:00–3:00 PM.

After play, cool off by the pool and enjoy your drink ticket at Bogie’s, or settle in at Bayside Grille for poolside dining and live music until 5:00 PM.

Members and guests are invited to join us next Thursday, September 17 for a night of cocktails, dinner, music, prizes, and plenty of table-side competition.

Start with cocktails at 5:30 PM, enjoy an Italian buffet at 6:00 PM, then get ready for Music Bingo at 7:00 PM. Listen for the songs, mark your card, sing along when you know the words, and see who at your table has the winning combination.

There are certain spots on the course that simply feel like Isla. Hole 14 is one of them.

With palms overhead, water nearby, bunkers guarding the green, and those wide-open Florida skies stretching above it all, this hole captures the quiet beauty and focus that make a round here feel so special.

It’s a place to choose your shot carefully, trust your approach, and still take a moment to enjoy the setting before moving on to the next tee.

Two weeks until Music Bingo lights up the Club.

On Thursday, September 17, Isla members and guests are invited to gather for a night that is part dinner, part game night, and part sing-along with friends.

Last call for Labor Day golf at Isla.

The 2026 Labor Day Box Tournament is coming up on Monday, September 7, and registration closes this Friday, September 4 at 10:00 PM.

Members are invited to join us for a fun and competitive day on the course featuring the “Player in the Box” format, four-person teams, an 8:30 AM sh***un start, and an awards banquet following play.

Teams may be all men, all women, or mixed teams with two men and two women.

Just one week to go until Isla’s Labor Day Cookout Buffet, and if you’ve been meaning to make plans, now’s the time.

Join fellow members on Sunday, September 6 at 5:30 PM in the Ballroom for a festive Labor Day evening featuring all the cookout favorites: hotdogs, hamburgers, BBQ brisket, Lonnie’s potato salad, baked beans, watermelon, and ice cream sundaes. It’s the perfect way to close out the holiday weekend at the Club.

Want to make a full day of it? Spend the afternoon poolside, enjoy the Bayside Grille menu from 11:00 AM–8:00 PM (weather pending), and then head upstairs for dinner, or grab a to-go container from the Ballroom and take the cookout back to the pool.
