Athlete Spotlight:
Jameson Moan - FSU Commit - Class of 2027
I started working with Jameson as an 8th grader with solid tools and a talented player but slightly undersized and his physicality and athleticism weren’t at the level necessary for that foundation of skill to truly develop to the potential he has. He’d worked himself up enough to be a good player but the physical capacity and efficiency required for to become the next level he is now had not yet been built.
Over the last few years, the focus has been on developing him as a complete athlete, not rushing results or chasing short-term gains. The priority was adding quality mass, improving force production, refining movement efficiency and creating cleaner movement patterns, and building the arm strength and capacity needed to be a weapon behind the plate.
The results reflect that in the raw numbers and in the film:
• Bodyweight: 140 → 190
• Exit Velo: 82 → 102
• Pop Time: 2.0–2.1 → 1.76
• Catcher Velo: 72 → 84
• Pulldown Velo: 86 → 96
• 60 yd: 7.8 → 7.0
• Vertical Jump: 20” → 31”
This level of development didn’t happen in one offseason. It came from years of full buy-in, daily intent, and a willingness to do the work consistently when no one was watching. By committing early and taking ownership of his development, he’s built a physical foundation that continues to separate heading into his junior spring, with significant upside still ahead.
Jameson committed to Florida State this fall on a full ride offer and that’s just the beginning. Bright, bright future for my guy, can’t wait to see what’s next. Big time 2026 spring season incoming
