From the time he could walk he has spent all the time he could on the waters of Tampa Bay and in the Gulf of Mexico – FISHING IS HIS LIFE!! While growing up and trying his hand at a number of jobs here and there, nothing could tear him from his true passion. Twenty years ago, he began fishing commercially for a living. Ten years ago, he acquired his stone crab license and blue crab endorsement and

now runs 500 traps year round. Ten years ago, he acquired his Captain’s license and has dreamed of running his own charter business, and well now, here we are. Being on the water is what Captain Matthew knows and loves. The thrill of reeling in the big one, seeing the look on his kids faces watching an early morning sunrise, or the pure amazement in his children’s eyes as they reel in anything from a blue runner bait to king mackerel being chased in by a shark is what he lives for – IT DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER. He wants for you and your families to be able to experience those moments as well. He prides himself on providing you with a fishing experience you will never forget; whether you are looking to catch your all-time personal best or see that look in your own children’s eyes, each charter he runs is catered to accommodate your personal needs.
