Your bio reads like a resume and your captions read like an intake form.
Everything you’re creating is accurate.
It lists modalities, techniques, letters after your name, and session lengths.
The woman reading it is scrolling with one thumb while a toddler screams outside the bathroom door, and she does not have the mental energy to translate “evidence based, individualized, strengths-based intervention” into what her life is going to feel like after working with you.
So she keeps scrolling, and you keep wondering why the post got likes from your coworkers and zero DMs.
I get why we do it.
I wrote SOAP notes for 10 years.
We were trained to be precise and we were actually graded on how detailed we could be.
Nobody in grad school taught us how to talk about our expertise in a way a stranger on Instagram would actually care about or even understand.
That translation is a big piece of what we work on inside Simplifying Socials, my 8 week live group coaching program for health and wellness pros. You will leave knowing exactly what to post and why you are posting it.
You are already good at your job. The people you are for just cannot see it yet.
Comment SIMPLIFY and I will send you the details.
