The 2027 Santa Cruz Bicycles Blur 5 is here!! Freshly updated and released in August this new 5th generation Blur is the modern option you've been wanting from Santa Cruz, with updates to geometry as well as a new down tube storage compartment, new to the Blur lineup for 2027. This one built up with FOX Factory SL suspension, and SRAM MTB XX SL transmission came in at 24lbs in size Large with bottle cages on.

This is the future of XC racing, a bike comfortable enough to descend fast technical trails with stability, and light and efficient enough to climb with the best. This would be an ideal bike for endurance races such as our very own BT Epic in Missouri.

Finished out with Reserve Wheels and Kenda Tires USA , the new Blur 5 is just as comfortable on your local trails as it is on the XC race track.

It allows a near-limitless number of users to connect and communicate with each other within a range of 900 m (0.5 mi). R1 EVO also features a Bluetooth protocol that allows the helmet to pair to your smartphone, letting the user hear music or take phone calls through the built-in speakers.
