We know many of our Jr Knights enjoy attending high school games. Below is information sent out by the district regarding attendance policy for middle and elementary school children and younger siblings. Our players are welcome to wear their jerseys to games, but please remind them if they are wearing the jersey they are representing the Jr Knights.

Spectator Guidelines For All Francis Howell Central and FHSD Games and Events

Dear Families,
As a reminder, all middle school students attending our home athletic and activities events must be accompanied and supervised by an adult for the duration of the event.
Please note that one adult may not bring multiple middle school students to an event unless all of the students are siblings and are children of that adult. Students may not attend independently or be dropped off with another adult who is responsible for multiple unrelated students.
This expectation is in place to help ensure a safe, positive, and well-supervised environment for all students and spectators. We appreciate your cooperation and support in following this policy at all of our home events.
Thank you for your partnership.

Below you can find several guidelines for all FHSD events that help to ensure we all have a great time supporting our Spartans.

Youth Attendance

Supervision Requirement: All students and children currently enrolled in the eighth grade and younger must be accompanied and directly supervised by an adult to be admitted to or remain at the event. We expect students and children to remain under the supervision of the adult that they are attending the event with.
Admission Policy: Youth spectators as described above will not be admitted to the stadium without a designated adult. Any youth spectators without a designated adult will be held outside the stadium until their parents come to pick them up or accompany them into the game.
Active Supervision: Accompanying adults are asked to maintain active supervision of those youth spectators for whom they have assumed responsibility for the entire contest.
Unsupervised Youth: Any youth spectators found to be without adult supervision will be returned to the adult(s) that brought them to the event. If the adult(s) are unable to be found, the student will be escorted from the stadium until a responsible adult arrives to pick them up. There is no re-entry once a spectator leaves an event.

Bag guidelines

These guidelines will feel familiar to many, as they are comparable to those mandated at many collegiate and professional athletic events.

Approved bags include:
Diaper bags and medically necessary items (may be subject to search)
Clear plastic or vinyl bags no larger than 12” x 6” by 12”
One-gallon clear plastic freezer bags
Small clutch bags that are no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”
Bags that do not meet the criteria listed above are not allowed.

Examples of unapproved bags include:
Purses larger than a clutch bag
Briefcases
Backpacks
Belt bags, crossbodies or f***y packs
Cinch or drawstring bags
Computer or camera bags
Guests carrying an unapproved bag will not be allowed entry to the facility. All bags are subject to search at the discretion of FHSD staff.

Sportsmanship/Cheering Expectations

For the enjoyment of all, the following expectations for fans, players, and students will be enforced:

Standing: Continuous standing is allowed only in designated areas.
Language: No profanity or implied profanity is allowed.
Respect: No disrespectful chants, including personal remarks directed at players and officials.
Targeting: No singling out players by number or name on posters, signs, or chants in a negative way.
Behavior: No disrespectful behaviors toward other fans, players, or cheerleaders.
Cheering: Cheer for Our Knights– not against the other team.
