St Peter Trap Team

St Peter Trap Team The St. Peter Trap Association supports and promotes the sport of Trap Shooting for boys and girls in the St. Peter School District.

The Association is a member of the USA Clay Target League. The spring Trap Season begins in March and concludes with the State Tournament which takes place in Alexandria, MN each June. When the season begins, the team shoots each Sunday (with make up days on Thursdays) at Caribou Gun Club in Le Sueur, MN.

Hi Everyone -
I have updated the sign up sheet with new shift times. I talked with Paul with the car club and they are changing the format to a Roll-in type of event rather than a car show. Cars will be parked as they come in.
The first shift will be from 6 a.m. -8:30 a.m. and the second group will be 8:30 a.m. -11 a.m. The clean-up crew is needed starting at 3 p.m. and will go until finished.
If you have already signed up THANK YOU SO MUCH. We will need about 3 people for the 8:30 a.m. shift and 3-5 people for the 3 p.m. clean up shift.

Hello Trap Families
The St. Peter Trap Association has committed to helping with the annual St. Peter Car Show in which the Association receives a generous donation to help support our student athletes.
Adult and student volunteers are needed on Saturday, September 20 at the Car Show at the Nicollet County Fairgrounds to help car show participants with parking their vehicle. This is a cool opportunity to see some pretty amazing vehicles.
The volunteer needs areSeptember 20: Car Show @ St. Peter Fairgrounds (adults/shooters needed)1st shift: 5:45 am-10:00 am Direct cars to designated areas2nd shift: 10:00 am-2:00 pm Direct cars to designated areas3rd shift: 2:00 pm-3:30 pm Clean Up

Hello Trap Families!
St. Peter High School Trap shooters have the opportunity to participate in the Carpenters Union Shoot this Saturday at Caribou Gun Club. This is a sporting clay shoot that has teams of 4 and there is no fee to shoot if you’re in the first 32 to sign up.

Arrival time at Caribou is 10:30 am. If you would like to participate, text Coach Lager at 507-995-6266 with your name.

Congratulations to St. Peter Trap Team members AJ Hill, William Schultz and Izzy Schultz who participated in the Larry Ahlman Youth League hosted at Morristown Gun ClubThe three shot in the Championship shoot on July 25. Izzy Schultz took first in the Novice Division with an impressive 75/100. AJ Hill took 2nd in Varsity with. 95/100 and William Schultz shot a 25 straight.

Thanks Morristown Gun Club for hosting a really great summer league!

So proud of these guys! Riley and William shot so well today, earning patches for shooting 25 straight. After all the scores came in they fell below the cutoff and will not be advancing to finals on Sunday. AJ did advance to the final round and will shoot at 1pm EST.

Congratulations guys on an amazing season! We will miss our senior, Riley, next year!

The top 400 shooters advance to the finals tomorrow. We will know later tonight if they move on to shoot in the finals.
