Brent Johnson’s donation didn’t stop at $33 for every quarter the Wind Chill scored last this season.

The Wind Chill scored last in 28 quarters during the regular season and home playoff game, and Brent Johnson is rounding up his total donation to a flat $1,000 for the Minnesota Wind Chill Foundation, supporting growth across our ultimate community!

The Minnesota Wind Chill Foundation has opened our grant applications! We are excited to continue the development and growth of middle school and high school ultimate frisbee.

The reimagined grant program, is a year-long partnership with the Minnesota Wind Chill Foundation. In addition to granting monetary funds, this partnership is a hands-on approach to support the recruitment, fundraising, marketing, and awareness efforts of the selected programs.

Both new and existing teams and programs can apply by September 25, 2026 for a year-long grant and partnership with the Minnesota Wind Chill Foundation.

This is your opportunity to bring a professional player to your school, physical education classes, or team practices. Our players will help your program introduce ultimate frisbee to more students, build greater awareness of the sport at your school, and recruit more players for your team!
