The University of Minnesota began this program in 2002 to provide comprehensive training for project managers, contractors, inspectors, and designers in the construction industry, and now also provides training for other stormwater audiences as well. This program provides training to meet the Minnesot NPDES Construction Permit requirements. This program also provides certification for personnel re

quired for Mn/DOT and State Aid funded projects involving bridges crossing rivers and streams, major graading projects, design/build projects, and all projects requiring an NPDES construction permit. Certification must be renewed ever three years to remain valid.
