Well, the unfortunate parts of racing happen and unfortunately that’s what I had this weekend.
A big crash on the BMW in turn 1 on Friday at BIR gave me a ride to the hospital and an early end to my weekend. Luckily no broken bones, just a concussion and possibly some ligament damage in my neck and hand (I will find out more this week).

Weekends like these all I can do is thank and for getting me in gear that will help me make it out of a 130 mph crash with minimal damage to my body.

Let this be a sign to spend the money on good gear! If I didn’t have a great suit, helmet, air bag and boots on, the outcome of this crash would have been a whole lot worse.

Twins Cup at Road America is in the books!

We made consistent improvements throughout the weekend while playing with gearing and suspension. I was able to have a good race 1, gaining 3 positions from where I started.

Unfortunately in race 2 I had an electrical issue and my bike died on me on the first lap after getting a great start and hanging with the group that was faster than me all weekend.

Overall it was a good weekend and I’m looking forward to more racing this summer!

CRA round 1 in the books!
Coming off of a minor hip injury from a track day two weeks ago I had some trouble relaxing on the bikes but I was doing better towards the end of the weekend and had a ton of fun with the CRA crowd.

BRL at MPH was a ton of fun. Getting used to this 1000 is a different animal and I’m loving it!
I qualified P1 for middleweight on the Aprilia and P4 for unlimited on the BMW, which I was happy about. Unfortunately I had a clutch malfunction on the Aprilia on the race start so I wasn’t able to finish. I didn’t get the best start on the BMW for unlimited, but I was able to work my way back to a p4 finish.
Day 2 was questionable weather so we put DOT’s on the Aprilia to play it safe. It ended up drying out really well for the race which was good but I was a bit slower than I was on slicks and ended up with a p3 finish. I got a great start in unlimited and had a fun battle for third with Rob Oliva for the last spot on the podium and he came out on top.
Overall it was a fun weekend with many PB lap times!

Had a ton of fun at CMP this weekend for my first time on the s1000rr. That bike is a blast! Looking forward to the season. Really glad I went to to set up my bike so that I can get as much as possible out of stock suspension. Go see them for all of your suspension needs.

Round 5 was quite a way to finish the season! I won the trophy dash on Friday… felt incredible to be in front again leading all 18 laps and being in the 43’s for about half of them! Saturday I had some fun battling with the Routh brothers but struggled with grip towards the end of the day. The 5 hour was a ton of fun! With a mechanical towards the end of the race we got set back to 3rd. Thanks to everyone who supports me! 📸 -Lowside Media

Late event 3 recap!
Had a ton of fun getting third in the three hour endurance on r3’s with Miranda Cain and Chris Peterson!
The other races on my 660 went alright, I was having trouble getting down to a good pace, but I had a lot of fun. Ready to get back on the bike and get back to dropping seconds!
