Folding masts!

The future of shipping - or just a gimmick? Regardless, the ship is pretty cool. This is the new cargo ship called the Neoliner Origin passing Taylors Island this morning in the mist at dawn. It sails from France in Europe to France in North America (yes, France in North America - look up Saint Pierre and Miquelon, an archipelago near Newfoundland, Canada, is the last remaining French territory in North America,) to Baltimore. The structures on the deck are actually sails (yes sails) that are folded down as they are not currently in use.
