One thing I don’t do is fall and stay down. And I carry that so well that I’ve actually grown to love failure.

You might’ve heard me say that failure is data, which I truly do believe, but it’s actually so much more than that.

Failure is an opportunity to:
-fine tune your system
-modify your effort
-hone your intention
-adjust your perspective

While I’m competitive and don’t like losing, I value failure. I have learned so much more from my (many) failures than I have from any win.

I'm on a mission to get more women, specifically Native women, in the gym! Every week I break down a key concept to make the gym, and strength training, less intimidating. This week I want to teach you how to plan your weekly workout split!

Today I talk about:
-committing 2-3 days/week to the gym
-how to assign muscles groups to each day (aka your weekly split)
-how to assign specific exercises to each day
-how to apply progressive overload to your program
-and I give you a sample beginner exercise program at 2:22
