Some games are bigger than the scoreboard.
This weekend marked the final tournament together for this incredible group of 12U girls, and while our run ended with a Top 8 finish in the Platinum Bracket at the All Sanctioned World Series, what these girls accomplished goes so much deeper than where they finished.
Over the course of this season, we’ve watched them grow—not just as softball players, but as young ladies. Their confidence grew. Their toughness grew. Their belief in themselves and each other grew. They learned how to handle adversity, celebrate success, pick each other up after mistakes, and compete with heart every single time they stepped on the field.
As coaches, it’s impossible to put into words what an honor it’s been to be a small part of their journey. Watching them compete on one of the biggest stages, representing themselves, their families, and Voltage with pride, is something we’ll never forget. They earned every moment.
The thing we’ll remember most isn’t the wins, the home runs, or the trophies. It’ll be the way these girls loved each other. They became sisters. They celebrated each other’s successes as if they were their own, picked each other up when things got tough, and built friendships that we hope last long after the final out.
Now it’s time for the next chapter.
Some of these girls will return to continue building at 12U, while others will take the next step and move up to 14U. No matter where they play next, we know they’ll leave their mark because that’s who they are. They’ve proven they can compete with anyone, and their best softball is still ahead of them.
To every player and every family, thank you for trusting us with your daughters. Thank you for the memories, the laughs, the long weekends, and the unwavering support.
We’ll miss this group more than you know, but we couldn’t be more excited to watch each of you chase your dreams and continue to grow.
Once Voltage, always Voltage. 💛🖤
Go be great, girls. We’re proud of every single one of you.
