Okay RACE TEAMS and all our amazing FANS, be sure to like Race the Yak page!! We are working hard to grow this awesome sport by partnering to bring another Jet River Race to the area!! ❤️🏁❤️.

The organizers of this race and admins of this page are Sam Davey and Shirley Ackerman. We are working hard to make this race a reality. We look forward to providing a good quality race that's fun for all ages. We are still in the early planning stages so stay tuned to this page for updates.

There are moments in racing when the true measure of a team isn’t found in the speed of their boat or the position they finish in—it’s found in their character.

Throughout the World Championship Race, Geis Racing faced what seemed like an endless series of challenges. Mechanical setbacks, unexpected obstacles, and circumstances that would have caused many teams to step away tested them at every turn. Yet, each time they were knocked down, they stood back up with courage, determination, and an unbreakable spirit.

They never lost sight of why they were there—to race with heart, to support one another, and to finish what they started. Their perseverance reminded us all that champions are not defined only by victories, but by the strength they show when adversity stands in their way.

With every repair, every difficult decision, and every mile they fought to complete, Geis Racing demonstrated the resilience, grit, and passion that embody the very spirit of river racing.

It is with immense pride and heartfelt appreciation that Race the Joe presents Geis Racing with the River Warrior Award.

This award recognizes a team that refused to surrender, overcame extraordinary challenges both on and off the river, and inspired everyone around them through unwavering determination and courage.

Geis Racing, your resilience, your heart, and your warrior spirit will be remembered long after the race is over. Thank you for reminding us that the greatest victories are often found in simply refusing to quit. Congratulations on earning the 2026 River Warrior Award!! ❤️🏁

🏁 Fluid Pro Presents the RAT 200�📍 Grande Prairie, Alberta�📅 July 24–26

First off, we want to thank everyone for being patient with us. We know you’ve all been waiting for the race leg information, and we apologize it took a little longer than expected.

With the RAT 200 taking place right here in Grande Prairie, there were a lot of moving pieces and plenty of discussions behind the scenes. Our biggest priority has always been making sure we put together the safest race possible while still giving our racers and fans an awesome weekend on the river.

Because of those unforeseen circumstances, we’ve had to make a few adjustments to the race legs. We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding as we worked through what was possible and safe to run.

The updated race information is now available, and we’re excited to finally share it with you!

Let’s get ready for an incredible weekend of racing! See you July 24–26 for the Fluid Pro Presents RAT 200! 🏁💙

A huge THANK YOU to Don Miller for his unwavering dedication and service over the years!

Since the inaugural Race the Joe in 2013, and throughout the USA World Championship Jet River Races in 2012, 2016, 2022, and 2026, Don has faithfully served as our Safety Director, doing an absolutely phenomenal job each and every year.

His leadership, professionalism, and passion for jet river racing have helped keep our racers, crews, volunteers, and spectators safe while supporting every team with dedication and integrity. Don’s commitment to this sport and our racing family is truly second to none.

Don, we are incredibly grateful for everything you have done and continue to do. We are truly blessed to have you as such an important part of the Race the Joe team.
