From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank all of the sponsors, participants, volunteers, and spectators! Each of you made this 5th year a big success!
We had 6 teams in this years tournament and played a triple elimination tournament.
1st place for 2025 - The 5th Annual Maci Whisner Classic Champions - PITCH SLAPPED! Captained by Sabrina Showman. Sabrina and pitch slapped were in a dog fight with Maci’s Army, but Isaiah Cooksey came up to bat and hit a walk off 3-run homer!
2nd place for 2025 - MACI’S ARMY - Captained by Josh Whisner. After being knocked into the losers bracket early on by NC, they had to fight their way out and ended up making a decent run in the tournament- coming in 2nd place!
Male MVP is Bryan Crawford, of Pitch Slapped. Bryan pitched every game for Pitch Slapped, hit hard and ran the bases like a gazelle. He had a smile on his face and made it look effortless! Congratulations, Bryan!
Female MVP is Aimee Yantes, of Maci’s Army. Aimee came out this year ready to rock and roll. She was hitting gaps, taking extra bases and even got an out by catching a pop fly behind the plate. Great job, Aimee!
